Painted on a chunky gallery wrapped canvas...this is 4 Colly Birds, only I forgot to paint the 2 eggs I planned on adding.  Oh well...we'll pretend they are in the nest.  This painting has a load of texture, I used a knife to lay on the paint.  Canvas like this one:

A Handmade Hourglass Mountain Dulcimer by Stephen Heitzman Jr.

My son is an incredibly driven individual.  He loves to create....anything!  His current passion is music, and in addition to taking lessons for varied instruments...he builds them as well.  He has built many instruments to date.  He did one commission of a mountain dulcimer, something like this one he is selling now:

Dulcimer body is about 37" long, 7 3/4" wide and 2" thick.

He's got some mad skills!  And now, instead of dismantling the toaster and radio...he is building, creating and being very resourceful!

Tea Bag

6x6 inches on a gallery wrapped canvas.  Gotta go make a cup of tea now.  Good thing I didn't paint any ice cream sundaes or donuts today...dieting... and I always eat my subject matter!
